A slow start to winter - hurray!

We were lucky enough to have a very mild late fall/early winter with tons of warm days perfect for family hikes. We took advantage of it whenever we could. Found this spot on the edge of a wooded area where we walk the trails. Thought it was so perfect for a photo that I lugged my tripod along the next time.
