When I was only 1 month pregnant I bought a beautiful handmade sling at Arts Fest and planned on doing the "baby wearing" thing and taking him with me everywhere that way. But... kids are unpredictable I'm finding out, and Connor does not like that sling, nor does he usually like me to put him in the other one we borrowed from his "Aunt" Sherry. However, he does like his Daddy to carry him in Sherry's sling when he needs some extra cuddle time. Last night he was having a hard time settling down before bed, and it was only Brian that could calm him by "slinging" him as we call it. He also has to be positioned so he can see out, otherwise get ready for a temper tantrum. I didn't think 8 week olds could have those, but at least ours has no problem letting us know when something doesn't suit him!
