Congratulations Bunny & Lou!!!

Connor made his first road trip on Saturday to go to my cousin Bunny's wedding about 3 hours away. I was nervous, I admit. He's never been in a car seat that long, and I had no idea how he would react to so many people, noises, etc. We did have my Mom (AKA Grammy) along with us, though, and she is absolute magic with him, so that gave me a little more confidence. Still I had visions of my kiddo being the one who decides to scream during the ceremony.

It turned out that Grammy was right when she insisted that he is an absolute angel - he could not have done any better. He slept the whole trip there, enjoyed some time with my Aunt Pat & Uncle Leo (parents of the bride), slept during the ceremony, and happily took in the sights and sounds at the reception. Of course I had the help of several baby experts during the party (thanks Grammy & Sally!), but he was as perfect as you could ever expect from a 2 month old! He also slept the whole car ride back, and after getting home at midnight and eating, slept for 5 hours straight (he only does 4 at a time usually). Brian and I are very proud parents today! My only regret is that we didn't get any pictures of him there or all of us with the happy couple, but I know other people did and if they make their way to me I'll update this post. I do, however, have some of the bride - isn't she gorgeous?! Here she is with her daughter Logan before the ceremony and moments after tying the knot!
