It was a big day for our almost-two-year-old. His birthday party was planned for the afternoon, and he was invited to another bday party that morning. But it was worth the extra level of chaos that added to our plans, because the party was at a local fire station - so cool! He got to meet a fireman and touch all of his gear, spray a real fire hose, run around the station amongst the many vehicles, climb into the front of a fire engine, and ride in the back of another one around the block. Whew! It was definitely time for a nap after all that excitement.
