Recently, Connor started asking for specific books when we read at bedtime. Some of the favorites right now are The Napping House ("house!"), Hop on Pop ("hop! hop! pop!"), Hands Hands Fingers Thumb ("hand!"), and Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See? ("bear!"). I decided to see if he wanted try reading with me by finishing the sentences, especially since he knew the words for most of the animals. Not only did he do it immediately, today when we were driving in the car I started reciting the book and he remembered all of the animal names in the right places. I absolutely couldn't believe it! Here we are reading it before bed.
