Well, we didn't name him, but Connor did "make" his first snowman today. Actually, Mommy and Daddy made it while Connor watched and ate snow, but he totally enjoyed it. It was sunny and warm compared to the last 2-3 months - we may have even reached the high 30s today!
This is the time of year when winter starts to get really long... but many, many inches of snow at least makes for an exciting Saturday morning. We got about 15 inches, and up to another foot tomorrow, so more snowy fun is ahead. Connor's idolization of our neighbor, Bennett, was as obvious as ever - he insisted on "climbing the mountain of snow like Bennett", which meant Mommy had to climb it too.
I suppose the lack of a posting since before Christmas gives you a pretty good idea of how our lives have been around here - busy!!! But, I'll try to get caught up and keep up with regular updates. Hope the new year is treating everyone well!
We made our annual trip with the Nelsons to find our tree, and this time we had even more family along with Uncle Beej, Aunt Stacy, and Livvy. After a bit of a rough start, Connor enjoyed himself even with a snowy and windy day - including catching snowflakes on his tongue. The weather did make for good pictures!
